Donald Ed “Donnie” Parks, 44, of Pueblo, Colorado passed away unexpectedly on August 8th ,2025. Donnie was preceded in death by his father and mother, Don and Karen Parks, his brother Ronald “Casper” Parkers, and his little sister, Darcie Parks, Grandpa Sparky, Uncle Rodger, and numerous brothers for life.
Donnie lived his life with grit, laughter, and a love that ran deep for the people and passions that filled his days.
He was the beloved husband of Heather, the love of his life, best friend, and partner in every adventure. Along with his cherished dog Donner “Extra Cheese” Parks. Together they built a beautiful life full of memories, joy, and a whole lot of horsepower, whether it was on a motorcycle, 4-whelers, or jet skis.
Donnie was a man who knew how to live. He chased sunrises on road trips, made every family trip count, and smiled widest while surrounded by the ones he loved. He was proud to be working his bucket list job at the farm, and anyone who knew him could see the peace and purpose it brought him.
He is survived by his loving wife Heather, his sister, Julie Pluanta, and brother, Eddie (Angol) Parks, brother-in-law, Josh “Bounce” Gonzales. Children, Samantha (Lorenzo), Levi (Angie), Zoe (Nicole), Dominic (Alyssa), Devin, Kianna (Seth). His cherished grandchildren, Ariana, Aniylah, Mckenzie Rae, Amerella, and Ezarious. Donnie was a proud Uncle to his nieces Aryana, Analeah, and Lamyah. Nephews, Christopher and Joseiah, and his great niece and nephews. He leaves behind a cosmic number of friends and brothers for life, because once you knew Donnie, you didn’t forget him.
Donnie’s life was big, bold, and full of love. He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always celebrated.
Graveside services will take place at Imperial Memorial Gardens Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery, located at 5450 CO-78, Pueblo, CO, 81005, on August 21, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
