

Doris Muriel Reynolds, 85, joined the Lord on April 24, 2017. Doris was born in Wall Lake, Iowa, November 10, 1931. Preceded in death by her parents, Orpha Marshall and Averald Melvin Jennings; sisters, Marion Doane, Lois Thomas, Clarice M. Schmeltzer; brothers, Billie Rae Jennings, and Frances Gene Jennings; daughter-in-law, Debi Reynolds. Doris is survived by husband of 35 years LeRoy W. Reynolds; sons, Steven A. Low of Woodland Park, CO., Thomas Gary (Cindy) Low of Bellevue, NE.; daughters, Theresa Oliva of Pueblo, CO., Melisa (Dave) OBray of Colorado Springs, CO.; stepchildren, Leroy Reynolds Jr, Lloyd (Melodie) Reynolds of Maud View, MN., Danny Reynolds and Jimmy Reynolds both of Cripple Creek, CO.; many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Faith was an important part of Doris’s Life. Doris was a founding member of Sunset Park Christian Church on Prairie Ave in 1961. Doris had many talents she shared with others, such as knitting, crocheting, quilting, and her seamstress work. She crocheted lap blankets and quilts for hundreds of veterans and domestic violence women though the YMCA. She was a hair stylist for many years. Doris and Leroy enjoyed dancing for years at the Silver Saddle Night Club. Doris loved fishing. They traveled in their ’67 Airstream with Railroading Good Sams Camp Group. Viewing is 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M., Sunday, April 30, 2017 in Imperial Funeral home’s chapel. Christian Burial Services are at 10 A.M., Monday, May 1, 2017 at Imperial Funeral Home.
