
Dorothy Alice Shepler Wilker, 93, born June 18, 1922 in Pueblo, CO to the union of Clifford and Sarah Shepler and passed away November 7, 2015 in Pueblo. Survived by her children, Robin (Mark) Boos of Garden City, Kansas and Chuck (Joanne) Wilker of Hartselle, AL; grandchildren, Forrest Byron (Jessie Rush) Betschart of Gillette, WY and Roy Wade (Becky Lembitz) Betschart of Ft. Collins, CO; 4 step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and 7 step-great-grandchildren and sister, Lillian King of Colorado Springs, CO. Preceded in death by her husband, Roy; parents and sister, Anna Margaret Villers. Dorothy was a lifetime resident of Pueblo, CO, proud Central Wildcat of 1940, member of the Stillman Lassies all girl marching band, active member for many years of the Beulah Belles, loved music, especially country music and dancing. She worked at the Pueblo Army Depot during WWII while her husband served overseas in Germany. Dorothy also worked at Campbell’s Flowers in the 1970’s in the wedding department. In recent years she loved her home at Wynwood Assisted Living and was involved in the Alzheimer’s Art Program. Funeral Service 2 p.m., Thursday, November 12, 2015 at George McCarthy Historical Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy’s memory to Sangre de Cristo Hospice or Alzheimer’s Association. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
