Dorothy Laverne ROBBE

Dorothy Laverne Robbe, 79, of Pueblo, Colorado, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Dorothy was born in Pueblo on August 1, 1938 to Kenneth and Lovina Stuckie. She graduated from Centennial High School in 1956. She was very proud to be a Bulldog alumni. Dorothy was a school bus driver for School District 60 for 17 years, from 1980 to 1997. She loved being able to drive all those school children. Dorothy is also a breast cancer survivor.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 61 years David; her 3 children Debra Luft, Gene Robbe (Lee), and Jennifer Greening (Steven); 10 grandchildren Melissa Robbe (Doug), Jimmie Robbe (Heather), Sabrina Hodge, Mary Robbe, Dean Luft (Michelle), Jessica Blaha (Jeremiah), Tina Robbe, Jana Luft, Cassie Greening and Jacob Greening; 9 great grandchildren Mike Romano, Jake Romano, Kevin Harris, Kent Luft, Donnie Robbe, Preston Hodge, Evelyn Luft, Brody Luft and Rebekah Robbe; 1 great great grandchild Bentley Romano; 3 sisters Carole Pluskett (Jerry), Sandra Cantrell (Raymond), Terry Bowman (Richard); and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.. Dorothy loved her children, but her grandchildren were even better.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents as well as her 3rd born son, Harry David Robbe.

A Funeral Service honoring Dorothy’s life will be held on Saturday, May 19th at 10am with a viewing at 9am at Faith Baptist Church, 169 South 30 ½ Lane, Pueblo 81006. A Graveside Service at Imperial Memorial Gardens will take place immediately following the service.
