He was born July 7, 1931 in Ridgeway, Michigan to Viola Grady (Plank) and Douglas L. Grady Sr.
Survived by; daughter Cyrisse (Jackie) Cooley; grandson Ryan (Chris) Kessinger and grandson Shawn (Isabel) Schneider-Cooley.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sally Eileen Grady whom he married in 1956; his father Douglas L. Grady Sr. and mother Viola Grady (Plank).
Douglas graduated from Britton High School in Michigan. He began his career in the automobile industry at Underwood Chevrolet in Clinton, MI. He worked as Service Manager at many different car dealerships in Pueblo and eventually retired from Wilcoxson Dealership. He had many hobbies, including fishing, wood working and mechanic work. Douglas was a long time member of The Elks Lodge in Pueblo.
Douglas was most importantly an amazing Dad and Grandpa and his family is so very thankful for that. They will love and miss him so much.
A viewing for Douglas will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home, 329 Goodnight Ave., Pueblo, Colorado 81004. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 10:00 AM at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 2561 Vinewood Ln, Pueblo, CO 81004. An interment will occur Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Colorado City Cemetery, 256 Timpas Dr, Colorado City, Colorado 81019.
Serving as pallbearers are Roger Grinage, Dale Hammond, Dan Kersey, Ryan Kessinger, Shawn Schneider-Cooley and Lee Scofield.
