Ebony Rae Martinez, of Pueblo born December 1, 1981, passed away on Thursday May 2, 2013 at age 31. She is survived by daughter, Tahni Martinez; Mother, Doris Martinez; Father, Peter Baca; Sister, Nicolle (Dylan) Lile; Grandfather, Victor Martinez; Grandmother, Carmen Baca; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by Grandmother, Dorothy Erla Martinez and Grandfather, Ancasio Baca. Ebony attended South High School and received her associates degree in 2010 from IntelliTec. Ebony Loved playing pool and couldn’t wait for the 4th of July to come around to light some fireworks. But none of those things compared for her love of her family, friends, and Tahni. Ebony’s kind, generous, and heartwarming spirit will live on through her daughter, Tahni, and in the heart of every life she touched. Her beautiful soul will truly be missed. The family asks you to wear some purple to the services in honor of Ebony as it was her favorite color. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Friday, New Beginnings Church. Interment, Imperial.
