Edward Trujillo passed away at Spanish Peaks Community Living Center on May 31, 2019. He was born July 22, 1932 in Pryor, Colorado to Alfredo and Martha (Marquez) Trujillo and grandson of David and Adelaide Marquez whom he loved dearly.
Edward Served in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1960. After the Navy he worked various jobs including GMC in Denver, Lathrop State Park and South Central Council of Governments in Walsenburg. He also worked for his bro Ernie at the Exxon station. He retired from Pueblo Transportation as a diesel mechanic after 13 years. He became disabled after a major heart attack in 1996.
Edward’s most favorite things to do was play the guitar and sing, especially at church. He loved working on cars and walking his dog Boots.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, grandparents, brothers Fred, Phillip, Ernest and Carlo. Sisters Martha, Victoria and Della.
Survived by his loving wife Sylvia; children Sheila Rivas, Denise (Isaac) Guerrero, Carla (Darrell) Trujillo, Louis (Bonnie) Martinez, Steven (Holly) Martinez, Sheila Martinez (Manny), Mark, Kelly, Lisa, and Jackie Trujillo; grandchildren and great grandchildren. His brothers Roger (Helen) Trujillo and Richard Trujillo and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be Friday June 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm at Imperial Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Imperial Cemetery with military honors.
