Ellen was born on May 14, 1953 in Trinidad, CO and lived in the small mining town of Segundo, CO until around 1963 when she moved to Pueblo. She was a proud graduate of Central High School. She met Lee Morey at the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo and they were married on June 16, 1973 and they lived in the Rye/Colorado City area for the past 46 years. Together they raised 3 children, 6 granddaughters and recently added a great-grandson. Family was the most important thing to Ellen and she is described as a “Second Mom” by many friends, nieces and nephews and their families. She was well known for the mischief she would get into with her 4 sisters and her brother. The special bond between the “Galli Girls” could be seen by everyone who knew them. Ellen enjoyed fishing and arrow head hunting, going to Cripple Creek and making puzzles. Her passion for sports included supporting her grand-daughters and the T-Bolts in all their activities and faithfully watching the Rockies and Broncos.

Ellen is survived by her husband of 46 years, Lee Morey; 3 children Jennifer (Dave) Gemmell, Nicole (Darren) Gibbs, and Dale Morey; 6 grand-daughters Makayla Rodriguez, Nalani Oili, Kalena Oili, Tatum Gibbs, Marnie Gibbs and Ava Gemmell and her new great-grandson Tayson Zupancic. She is also survived by her siblings Sue Setter, Margaret (Mike) Baker, Carolyn (Gary) Baker, Louie Galli and Mary (Mitch) Robinson and her sister-in-law Linda (Malcolm) Price and many nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by her parents Isidonia and Eliseo Galli, her mother and father-in-law Thelma and Buck Morey, her brother-in-law Phil Setter, her good friend Brenda Baughman and her partner in crime Lorraine Veith.
