Elsie J. (Skerjanc) Martinez was born on May 18, 1928 in Pueblo, Colorado and left on May 8, 2011. Elsie is preceded in death by her husband, Joe I. Martinez; parents, Frank and Johanna Skerjanc and brother, Frank (Lena) Skerjanc. She is survived by nephews; C. L. Berrier (Sherry) Skerjanc, Leonard (Shirley) Skerjanc; special cousins, John, Sue, Mark (Paula) Kochevar, Mary Whaley; numerous great nephews, nieces, cousins and devoted friend, Betty Harmon. Elsie played a special role in all of our lives. She will be sadly missed but her memory will live forever in our hearts. Funeral service, 2:00 pm, Friday, May 20, 2011 at George McCarthy Historic Chapel with interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
