Emi Cook (née Murakami), peacefully passed away at age 92 on June 15, 2019, in Pueblo West, Colorado. She was born in Hilo, Hawaii, May 14, 1927. Beloved wife for over 50 years of Aron Cook who preceded her in death December of 2009. She is survived by her children Barbara DiMatteo and Raymond (Charlene) Cook; siblings Tsuyoshi, Toshi, Howard, May, Taiko, Lilian, and Geraldine; grandchildren Nalani, Lauren, Raechel, and John. She was preceded in death by her eldest sister, Ethel.
She loved to garden, paint, do crossword puzzles, laugh heartily, and eat as many sweets as possible. Her precious presence and warm smile will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
