Emilio P. Valdez, 89, went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2013. Preceded in death by wife, Stella Valdez. Survived by his children, R.J. (Tillie) Valdez, Josie (Alex) Herrera, Tina (Marty) Santistevan, Lawrence (Grace) Valdez and Joyce (Steve) Moore; numerous grandchildren, great and great- great grandchildren. Also survived by special friends, Tillie (Danny) Marmolejo, Kathie Powers, Sharon Stump and many relatives and friends. Emilio retired from DRG&W Railroad as a Section Foreman and enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos. Rosary Service 6 p.m., Thursday, September 19, 2013. Funeral Mass 2p.m., Friday, September 20, 2013 both services at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. With a reception to follow both services. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
