

Erik “Red” Kilby, 44, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on October 9, 2011. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cherie Farlett. Red is survived by his loving wife of twenty-four years, Linda; stepchildren, Jennifer, Jason (Tonnie) and Jacob Davidson; grandchildren, Lacee and Jason II; father, Ron Kilby; sister, Alana Kilby; half-brother, Will Farlett; nephew, Dylan Kilby; also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and a plethora of friends. Red worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as a locomotive engineer. He enjoyed car and gun shows, traveling and going on cruises. Red was a country music entertainer, frequently singing at Steel Guitar conventions around the country. He served in the Army and the Air Force Reserves, and was a member of the FOE Aerie #145. At Red’s request, Cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “The Red Kilby” Memorial Fund through Lake Avenue Baptist Church, 1345 Lake Avenue, Pueblo, CO 81004.
