Esther Mary Graham passed into our Lord’s arms on April 12th. Covid took her five days before her 97th birthday. Our sweet mom was born to the late Mary Ann Vitullo and Joseph Janoski on April 17th 1924 in a log cabin on Overton Rd. She grew up riding horses with her late brother, Raymond. She enjoyed caring for the animals. Her love for animals continued throughout her life.
Esther graduated from Central High School where she met her husband Tim Graham. They were married for 64 years until his death in 2006.
Mom lived in Pueblo all her life. She worked at the Pueblo Tent and Awning and at the Colorado State Hospital where she cared for elderly patients. Esther never met a stranger. Whether it was a person in the grocery store who just wanted to chat or a lost puppy wanting to come in the door. She always welcomed them into her heart.
Esther was always a devout catholic. She loved the Blessed Mother Mary and had a deep devotion to the Holy Spirit. She is survived by her children: Karen St.Vrain (Paul), Tim Graham (Donna), Kathy Andersen (Chuck) and Sherri Fabec (Fred). There are 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. May our mom find peace in the Lord’s Eternal Rest.
