Eugene Marlin Clevinger

Survived by his daughters, Sharon Ramsey (Scott), Terri Clevinger; son, Eugene Clevinger (Cindy); brother, Earnest Clevinger (Shirley), sister Adeline Stiltner and numerous Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Clyde Clevinger, Mother, Goma Clevinger-Belcher and Step-Father Lawrence Belcher.

In addition to his parents, he was preceding in death by his wife, Phyllis C. Clevinger, brothers, Buster Clevinger, Gordon Clevinger, Willie Clevinger and sister, Lillie Mae Ratliff.

After 20 years of dedicated service, Eugene retired from the United States Army Sergeant First Class in 1979. A man who valued hard work, he continued to serve his community after his military career through various roles, including working as a shuttle bus driver and security guard until his full retirement in 2012.

Eugene was well known as a talented pool player and skilled bowler. He also found great joy in visiting Cripple Creek as a favorite getaway filled with fun memories.

While our hearts ache, we take great comfort in knowing he has been reunited with his beloved wife, Phyllis.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
