

Tim Pineda passed September 27, 2017, peacefully in his own home as he wished, after a life fully lived and enjoyed until his last days. Tim was born on December 4, 1920 in Walsenburg, CO. He was husband to Priscilla for 59 years, who has preceded him in death. Also preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Eutimia; infant grand-children Nathanial and Brett Arrieta, and numerous siblings. Tim was a WWII Purple Heart Veteran (Germany) with honors, and retired from Pueblo Army Depot.
Tim and Priscilla parented 12 children, all of which survive them, and their families: Gloria Cruz, Tom (Annette), Ralph (Nancy), Theresa (Charles Hart), Paula (Ernie Montano), Yolanda (Albert Arrieta), Becky, Wanda (Ron Martinez) Eric (Lisa), Geno (Glenda Velasquez) Jerry (Tracy), Laura (Emilio Gonzales). He is survived by 24 grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. He will be missed by several siblings, and in-laws , extended Duran family and their families.
Tim enjoyed golfing with family and friends, dining out, poker, state fair rides and visiting friends at the mall. He enjoyed hosting his birthday parties with his gifts being toys for needy children in memory of his amazing wife.
Per his request, cremation with no viewing. Funeral Services at St. Joseph church at 1145 S. Aspen Rd., Pueblo, CO at 10 am on Thursday, October 5th, 2017. Immediate interment with military honors at Roselawn Cemetery, followed by lunch at St. Joseph’s hall. Here’s to a life well lived, to quote use his favorite German phrase “PRIMA, PRIMA” (Fantastic)!
