Francis Keith Williams, 88 of Pueblo, CO, passed away on Nov. 6, 2011 from complications of a stroke. He was born in Trinidad, CO, raised in Hoehne, then eventually moved to Pueblo. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Jean; son, Kelly Williams; parents, Tempe and Frank Williams and brother Robert Williams. Francis is survived by his daughter, Patricia Artichoker; son, Mark (Darlene) Williams; daughter-in-law, Yvonne Williams; sisters, Mary Speaks and Jean (Mac) McClung; grandchildren, Trevor (Daphne) Artichoker, Tyler (Melanie)Artichoker, Trent (Caroline) Artichoker, Barry Williams, Sheri Flynn, Brian Williams; great-grandchildren, Kasey, Kody and Kade Artichoker, Jackson and Jayden Artichoker, Benjamin Artichoker, Hanna, Camden and Elsie Flynn; and numerous relatives and friends. Keith served in the Army-Airforce as a pilot and worked as an electrician for Dana Corporation for many years, then continued with his own business, F.K. Williams Electric. Even though he was retired, he continued his trade by helping out his close friends. He was a devoted husband, an avid hunter, fisherman, crossword puzzler, professional tinkerer, and black powder enthusiast and mentor. Betting at the dogtrack, gambling on football games and poking fun at Bronco lovers were his favorite hobbies. He had so many friends of all ages and he dearly cherished their drop-in visits where he would say they drank a beer and told each other lies. He was also a father and grandfather figure to many others. Keith was the kind of man who seemed to be able to do anything and everything. He would probably call himself a tough old buzzard and wouldn’t hesitate to help someone out of a jam. He was the go-to guy for any problem whether it be car trouble, house repairs, financial crisis or how to make something. He was affectionately known by many names such as “Bruno, F.K., Willy, Keith, Francis, Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, Papa, and Dear. He was a “superman” to all of us and will be greatly missed.
