Fernando Salazar, 88, of Pueblo, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 3, 2015. Survived by his wife Rafaela Salazar; Children Fred (Phyliss), Kathy (Jess), Anthony, and Janel (Robert); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Preceded in Death by his son Louis P. Salazar, mother Rebecca Trujillo; father Domingo Salazar; sisters Dorothy and Placida Romero, Anotonia Salas, and brother Ben Martinez. Fernando retired from the Pueblo Army Depot working 36 years. He coached the girls’ softball team, loved to take walks, and read his Bible. At request cremation has taken place and resting place in Clayton, NM. Family will receive friends and family at Pueblo Grande Rec Center at 999 Fortino Blvd N. on 1/8/2015 from 12-3 PM.
