Dear Aunt Virgie,

It saddens me to hear of Uncle Phil's passing.  I pray that God embraces you with his comforting arms.  I've thought of both you and Uncle Phil over the years and remember Uncle Phil's gentle and caring ways.  I also extend my condolences to the rest of the family, especially Rose, Irene, and LeeRoy.

Uncle Phil

  I know you are my wife's favorite uncle and also I know she loved you very very much because she has told me this many times in our 40 years of marriage.  You raised my wife, RoseMary like she was your "One And Only Daughter". and you did a great job at that.  Because of you she has turned out to be the wonderful women she is. She turned out to be the "Perfect Wife" for me and I can give you a lot of credit for that.  So I guess that would make you my father-in-law, and it makes me make very proud to be your son-in-law.  Also I've known you for over 40 years and I enjoyed every year that I've known you, and have countless memories that you have given me. 

  There is not much more that I can say, except; I love you and I will miss you very much, and I know you will be rewarded in another life for the man you have been on this planet. and may you rest in piece.

   You have been like a father to me, raised me, loved me, cared for me and and treated me like your own daughter. You know and I know what you said to me before I left Colorado and that will always be in my heart. I have always loved you, Uncle Phil and Aunt  Vergie, "Unconditionally" without any reward.
