

Frances Carlino went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2016, in Kansas. Frances Carlino She was born Feb. 24, 1925, to Alessio and Vita (Geanetta) Maltese, who lived on the family farm on the St. Charles Mesa. She married Joe Carlino in 1948, and celebrated over 63 years of married life together, before he preceded her in death. She also was preceded by siblings, and two nephews: John Ray Maltese and Tony J. Carlino Jr. Frances is survived by sons, Chuck (Robin) Carlino, Ron (Cheryl) Carlino; grandchildren, Elisabeth “Lisa” (Frank) Vogel; Teresa “Teri” Carlino, Ronald “RJ” Carlino Jr., Christopher “Chris” Carlino; great-grand-children, Samuel and Gemma Vogel; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. She graduated from Pleasant View High School and worked as a manager for Zale’s Jewelers. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends; the coffee pot was always on. She loved gardening, cooking, canning and baking. Visitation, 6 to 8 p.m., with rosary at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 28, and funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Friday, April 29, both at St. Mary Church, 307 Mesa Ave., Pueblo, Colo. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Frances’ name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.
