

Frank R. Javornik Jr., 75, passed away on Oct. 8, 2012. Predeceased by his father, Frank Sr. and mother, Anna (Trontel), as well as his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary and Alvin Pohlmeier, and brother-in-law, David Pohlmeier. Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Joan (Pohlmeier). Together they had five wonderful children: Frank III (Rose), Terri (Annick), Edward (Sandy), James, and Chris. Grandfather of Frank IV, Tony, Annie (Ryan) Tack, and Delbert Javornik. Great-grandfather of Ambyr and Kaylee Javornik, and Austin and Mason Tack. Special cousins, Sharon Trontel and Diane Trontel. Brother-in-law of Darlene (Don) Staruh, James Pohlmeier, and Robert (Donna) Pohlmeier. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Frank was a Pueblo native and graduated from Pueblo Catholic High in 1955. In 1958 Frank joined his father and Uncle Ed Trontel in operating the family business, Frank’s Meat Market. He retired in 2007. Frank was proud of his Slovenian heritage; and recently met his extended family from Slovenia, Janez and Lidija Trontelj as well as Tony Trontel, Ohio. Frank was a member of the Preseren Glee Club, St. Joseph KSKJ Lodge #7, and the Pueblo Elks. In lieu of food or flowers donations may be made to the Shrine of St. Therese Building fund. Rosary will be 7 p.m., Wednesday, at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home. Memorial Mass will be 10 a.m., Thursday, October 11, 2012, at the Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church.
