Frank V Reed

Frank Vincent Reed, 79, passed away June 18, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife, Connee; son, Scott; daughter-in-law, Angela Reed; grandchildren, Noelle and Ryan Reed and great-granddaughter, Natalia; siblings, Shirley LeBaron, Claire Yezierski, John Reed, James Reed, Sally Aldrich, Karle and Kenneth Kushi; sister-in-law, Roberta Bratina; nephew, Jon Valdez and best friend, Clara Rose. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Frank was born in Peabody Massachusetts September 14, 1932 to the union of Ernest D. Reed and Geraldine Kushi who precede him in death along with his step-father, Louis Kushi; brother, Dewey Reed and father and mother-in-law, Anthony and Rose Valdez. He retired from the U.S. Army with many decorations, two tours to Vietnam and 20 years of service. Frank was proud to have served his country. He then went on to work 28 years at the U.S. Postal Service. He was involved in the Elks Lodge #90 and enjoyed bowling and fishing in Colorado streams. He loved his family and will be dearly missed. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Imperial Funeral Home Chapel.
