Fred Krupka, beloved husband, dad, grandpa, and friend passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Angie Krupka and leaves behind the love of his life, his wife, Debbie Krupka, his daughters Juli Krupka (Jeff Shelton) and Audree (Tony) Colarelli, as well as his adored grandchildren, Vinny and Natallia Colarelli. He was loved by his doggy companions, Abbey and Sammy, as well as numerous friends and extended family.
Fred spent 25 years as a plumber at the Colorado State Hospital, where he created many meaningful relationships and lasting memories.
Fred was a man that found joy in simple things, spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors while looking for wildlife, listening to his favorite classic rock music, showing his creative talent as an artist, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
His family was the joy of his life. Family vacations, annual camping trips, four wheeling in the orange Jeep Cherokee, fishing, and even hula dancing in Hawaii. His most cherished family time was Sunday spaghetti dinner, while watching golf or football. He never let his family members leave without saying “be careful and drive safe.” It was his way of saying, “I love you”, and those words will forever echo in our hearts.
He went from being a hunter, to praying for the animals during hunting season. He could spot a deer before anyone else, and knew the name of every bird at his birdfeeder. Even until his last days, he was worried about the neighborhood squirrels and raccoons having enough to eat. His love of the outdoors and animals was often the focus of his artwork.
Fred was known for his quick wit, one liners, and entertaining his friends and family with a joke or story. His humor and contagious personality made every get together and family dinner more comical.
He was a man that loved deeply. He will be forever missed.
Reception will follow Committal service.
