Gary Patrick Grinstead Sr., 63, passed away unexpectedly; and went to be with the Lord on Nov. 26th, 2017. As a young man, he was a CPL in his beloved Marine Corp; and then worked as an Electrician until he retired in 2013. Gary was a dedicated family man, and was an amazing Papa to not only his own kids but to all in need. Gary is survived by his daughters, Margie (Danny), Danielle & Shannon (Frank); his 5 brothers, Steve (Ellen), Rob, Chris (Vicky), Mark and Kurt (Teri), along with numerous grandchildren and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Marjorie Grinstead; his brother, Greg; and his sons, Gary and Greg. Funeral Mass, 9:30 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017, at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 414 W 11th St. Interment to follow at Imperial Cemetery.
