Gene M. Bacon

Gene M. Bacon, 88, passed peacefully at home on October 24, 2012. He is predeceased by his parents and a sister. Gene is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bonnie; children, Janice (Robert) King, Mark Bacon; grandchildren, Eugene Bacon, Jody King; great-grandchild, Phillip King; nephews, Arliss, Jerry and Duane Wells; numerous family and friends; and his dog Cricket. Gene was a member of the Elks & Eagles, a Navy Corman in WWII, was a chemical engineer, and retired from CF&I after 38 years. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Visitation, 5-7 pm, Monday, October 29 and funeral service, 10 am, Tuesday, October 30, both at Adrian Comer Garden Chapel, 2710 N. Elizabeth, Pueblo, CO. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
