Geraldine Lucille Gray

Geraldine “Gerry” Gray, 88, born to Ernest and Lena Holloway in Virden, Illinois December 13, 1927, passed away May 22, 2016. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Don Gray Sr., three children Don (Mary) Gray, John (Sue) Gray, and Kathy (Bruce) Beller. Seven grandchildren Amy, Chase, Zach, Augie, Kim, Baron, and Thad; four great grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren. Gerry was wife, mom, grandma, aunt, sister, and friend to countless wonderful people throughout her life. She retired from East Otero School District in La Junta as a nurse’s aide and enjoyed her docent volunteering at Rosemount Museum. She lived a very adventurous life traveling in high style with her husband Donald by way of antique car, or the motor home full of grandchildren. Her passion was collecting antique glass, shopping any sale she could find, and of course dancing the night away as often as possible at Tranni’s.
