Gloria graduated from Canon City High School and dedicated herself to the work of caring for those she loved, both as a homemaker and as the owner of the Elegant Image Dress Shop. She brought patience and pride to all she did.
A master gardener, Gloria found quiet joy in cultivating beauty and growth. She also gave her time as a Cub Scout Den Mother, and she restored dolls for Goodwill—careful, thoughtful work that reflected her generous heart. She treasured long walks with her friends and was an avid reader, always drawn to the companionship of a good story and the simple pleasure of shared conversation.
Gloria loved traveling and has seen most of the United States and many foreign countries. Wherever she went, she made friends, leaving behind warm impressions and lasting connections. She is loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Gloria is preceded in death by her daughter, Laura; grandson, Jason; sisters, Velda, Dorothy, Mildred, Norma, Wilma, Lola, Rosemary, and Barbara; and brother, Archy.
She is survived by husband, Rocky; sister, Florence and Donelle; son, Paul (Cheryl); and grandsons, Matthew (Abra), Lucas, and Adam.
