

Harriet Rose Mitchell passed away after a long illness on October 17, 2013. She was preceded in death by husband, Sam Mitchell; parents, Carl and Virginia Nedbal and sister-in-law, Jan Nedbal. Survived by son, Robb (Paula) Feeback and daughter, Jae (Jeff) Ryan; step-son, Sam Mitchell Jr. and stepdaughter, Becky (Duane) McHodgkins; grandchildren: Jesse, Alexandria, Dominic, Sami Jo, Amanda, Miranda, Parker, Brandon (Sarah), Breana (Brett) and Brittani; great-grandchildren: Kiley, Chloe, Sophie, and Luke; brother, Ron Nedbal; nieces, Sheri, Pamela and Nicole as well as other nieces, extended family and special friends. Harriet grew up in Pueblo but spent many summers at the family ranch in Walsenburg. She participated in many activities at Centennial High School graduating in 1964. She attended Adams State College for three years before marrying and starting motherhood. Harriet “Codi” wore many hats in her life, that of mother, wife, daughter as well as teacher, color guard director, realtor and Bronco fan. She loved spending time with her and Sam’s numerous grandchildren. A special heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lawrence Jensen and Shelly for their tremendous dedication and many years of service and friendship to the family.
