Harvey Dennis Reed, born October 2, 1935 in Beresford, South Dakota, died July 31, 2023. He is survived by his loving friend, Bonnie Benjamin; Children Karen Burdell, Kevin Reed, Lynn Reed-Rockwood, Scott Padgham and Belinda Minerich, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Harvey is preceded in death by wife Linda, wife Nancy, brother James, son Luke Kalar, grandson Jeremy and parents Gustaf H. and Anne M. Reed.
He served in the Marines as a radio operator and spent his career as a pipefitter. He retired from Rockwell/Rocky Flats in 1999, and lived in Pueblo, Colorado ever since. He spent his time camping, fishing and reading. He loved anything golf, and was proud to have gotten two holes in one.
A memorial service is on Saturday August 12, 2023 at 11:00 am at Mesa Bible Church, 702 S. Main St., Pueblo, CO 81004. Services and interment in Boulder, CO, at a later date.
