Howard E. “Andy” Andersen Jr., 94, passed away May 15, 2021. He was born March 15, 1927. Andy served two years in the US Navy constructing Naval bases in the Admiralty Islands of the South Pacific. He worked his entire career with Mountain Bell, keeping telephone systems working in southern Colorado and at NORAD. He loved cars and riding motorcycles. Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Sr and Hazel; and his brother Bob. He loved his family, and is sadly missed by his wife of almost 74 years, Janis Andersen; children Carolee Denning and Chuck (Kathy) Andersen; grandchildren Liz, Dean, Luke, and Lauren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
