Inez Carney

Inez Carney (1929-2023) passed away Sept. 21, 2023 at the age of 94. Born Jan. 28, 1929 in Talladega, Ala., and later moving to Colorado, Inez worked as a school bus driver for Jefferson County. Inez married John M. Carney on June 18,1954. They shared 69 beautiful years of marriage. Together they shared a love of fishing, camping, traveling, ministry and Inez especially loved playing Mexican Dominoes. Inez is leaving behind 3 sons, Toma (Laurie), Mike (Mary) and Tim (Charlene) and a foster daughter Carol Moore along with another daughter-in-law Francie. Inez is preceded in death by her son Don and a grandson. Inez was loved by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren. Inez and John lived in Golden, CO for many years until moving to Pueblo West, CO where they were active members of the Southwest Church of Christ in Pueblo, CO.

A memorial service for Inez will take place at Southwest Church of Christ, Thursday, October 5th at 2pm.
