Jerrold Willis

November 14, 2019

Willis family variously from KY/WV/IL enjoyed seeing Colorado cousins at Arkansas family reunion each year. So many precious memories from Fourth of July with ice cream and watermelon to Grandma Byler singing at church (or working hard in her garden after first getting all made up for the day.). I know Aunt Isaloy treasured the time with family, and we think of the Potter family often. May God be with you and bless you and all of our extended families. In Christian love,
Jerrold C. Willis (Jerry)

Isaloy Potter, tribute from Bryan Byler

There really is no reason
To be sad or for any to grieve
It was simply just her time to go
She was well-prepared and ready to leave
Her life was full of happiness
She raised a family and served God
She was loved by all who knew her
A great tribute to her parents Harper and Maude
She had dreams of being a missionary
A dream she had to serve in Brazil
It was only in God's plan
That her eldest son was tasked to fulfill
Through the years she shared memories
With family stories and several talks
She was famous to share photographs
Several hundreds kept in a box
To her kids Gwendolyn, Jacquelyn
Eddie and Duane
Through your love and the memories
Your Mom will always remain
She now takes that final journey
The one she watched others go before
She'll be smiling as she goes along her way
A celebration is waiting at the door
She was the last of an era
A member of the Byler Clan
A reason only known to one
She lived as only God could plan
She was the youngest of five daughters
Four brothers made the total nine
The last to live of the Byler kids
She was the last to be left behind
One can only imagine the welcoming
That must have occurred up there
The reunion of the nine siblings
Must have been beyond compare
The echoes of their laughter
The thought of the tears of joy
Brothers and sisters smiling
Hugging their sister Isaloy
The thought of all the hymns being sung
Is enough to make one dizzy
The angels hear a Byler concert at last
The siblings together again, with their sister Izzy
