

Jacob Paul Cesario, 87, passed away May 9, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dominic Cesario and Josie Vigil-Duran; wife, Martha, in 1984; and his son, Jerry in 2002. He is survived by his sons, Lee H. Cesario and David James Cesario and his significant other, David Cowling; grandson, David J. Cesario (son of Jerry) and his significant other, Julie Hanson. Jake left Central High School to enlist in the US Navy during WWII, and served from 1942-1946 as a Gunner’s Mate Seaman First Class. In 1944 he entered Naval Training School for Gunner’s Mate in Farragut, Idaho. In 1945 Jake received an Official Letter of Commendation from Commander Carl L. Gilbert. Jacob and Martha Jaramillo were married on November 9, 1946, at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. He worked for CF & I Rail Mill in the finishing end and as a guide setter for 43 years. He has been a lifelong care giver to his developmentally disabled son, Lee, and his aunt, Alice Garcia. “Grandpa C” will be dearly missed by all his friends and family.
