

Jacob was born on April 18, 1979 in Menomonie, Wisconsin. He was a resident of Pueblo, Colorado and has made Pueblo his home for the past 29 years. Jacob passed away on March 3, 2021. He was a devoted father to his sons, Joseph and Jeremiah Hanson.
Jacob is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Doris Nelson, maternal aunt Sally (Nelson) Tschumperlin, and foster grandparents Ethel and Duane Cripe. He is survived by his sons, Joseph and Jeremiah Hanson, his parents Ronald and Susan Hanson (Washington), sisters Julie Hanson (David Cesario) (Pueblo, Colorado) and Jennifer Hanson (Washington), nephew Terrance Hanson (Washington), grandfather LeRoy Nelson (Wisconsin), Nancy (Wayne) Hanson (Wisconsin), Sandy (Matt) Lewon (Wisconsin), Roger (Kathy) Hanson (Wisconsin), Marlene Cripe (Wisconsin), Roberta Duran and the Duran Family, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jacob worked for Pueblo Diversified Industries at Fort Carson Army Base, Colorado. He took pride in his work and talked fondly about his co-workers. He had a smile that would light up a room and will be missed by all that loved and cared for him.
