Jacquelina Joan Filangi

Jackie J. Filangi, 87, passed away Sept. 12, 2018. She graduated with an associate in nursing from DePaul School of Nursing in 1952. Married Dominic A. Filangi in 1958 at the Shrine of St. Therese.

Survived by husband of 60 years, Dominic; children Deanna (Robert) Higgins, Rosellan (Joe) Arrigo; Grandchildren, Misty, Christopher, Corey, Kailey, Colton; Great-Grandchildren, Kiriah, Skyla, and Taevon; Sisters-in law Donna Brunelli and Alfie Filangi; and numerous nieces, nephews and relations. Preceded in death by son, Dominic J. Filangi, brother George Brunelli, sister Betty (Johnny) Petrovich.

Viewing is Monday, Sept. 17 at 9am followed by A Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00am both at the Shrine of St. Therese. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Association. She will be missed greatly by her family.
