Jim designed and built his own family home, and loved do-it-yourself projects. He was a hard worker and raised animals for 4H with his children. He loved camping, sports, and spending time with his family. He loved the stock market – he was a buy high and sell low kind of guy. Jim was an Elder in the Pueblo Mennonite Church.
