Janice Elkins, 87, passed away December 20, 2020 in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born in Austin, Texas, the daughter of Hugo and Clara Schulle. She graduated from the University of Texas, and was a music teacher for the Austin School District.
Janice was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Pueblo, and enjoyed singing, music, and being with family. She will always be remembered for her beautiful singing, and her love for her family.
She is survived by her daughter Jane (Bob) Van Matre and son Jim Casparis; grandchildren Lauren (Adam) Trimble, Michael (Larissa) Van Matre; and great grandchildren Henley Trimble and Anaïs Van Matre; brother Bert Schulle and family, and special friend Betty Bright.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
