Jannie was born to Raymond and Anna Mae Josephine Conger on June 7, 1946 in Pueblo, CO.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Alan Boyd, sister Patricia Conger, brother Carl Conger, sister Barbara Conger and lifelong friend Janie Gray.
She is survived by her loyal fur baby “Mama”, brother Clyde "Sonny" (Jeanie) Conger of Phoenix, AZ, sister Debbie Jordon of Pueblo, CO, daughter JoAnn (John) Senn of Las Vegas, NV, Tammy Gatlin of Huntington Beach, CA, James Gatlin Jr. of Roswell, NM, Rick (April) Gatlin of Pueblo, CO, Anthony "Tony" Gatlin of Pueblo, CO, 20 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Jannie loved the Lord and was very faithful. She enjoyed her time reading the bible at Mineral Palace Park while sunbathing. She loved getting together with family and friends for barbques and holidays. Jannie was a very hard worker, even up to her last weeks. She insisted on helping with housework when she was able to. She was happy to help family and friends out with anything that she could. She loved to do crafts, watch movies (her favorites were westerns), sports, she loved her Denver Broncos and watching the sunset! She had a green thumb and was a good cook. Her family and friends looked forward to a nice batch of fudge to indulge in as an annual Christmas gift.
Jannie worked as retail sales associate, dental assistant, and home health care provider to name a few.
Jannie is missed so very much already. We find comfort knowing that she is no longer suffering and that she passed away comfortably, as well as peacefully.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Imperial Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m.
