Jared passed away unexpectantly on August 22, 2024. He was born on August 2, 1997 in Anchorage, Alaska to Charlene “Cheri” Griggs. Jared moved to Beulah, Colorado when he was 7 years old and has been co-parented by his adopted father Bryan Ware for the past 14 years. Jared leaves behind his immediate loving family of his mother Cheri Griggs, adopted father Bryan Ware, sister Charley Pico and Grandfather Jack Griggs. He also leaves behind numerous family and friends in Colorado, Alaska, and in Ohio, and his true love, Leo the Cat.
Jared made an impact on many lives throughout the region as an EMT and Firefighter. His laugh and quick retorts always left anyone who got to talk with him a joyous moment in their lives. Jared will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. He is at peace and that should bring a smile to anyone who knew him.
There will be no service at Jared’s request. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Beulah Fire Department (P.O. Box 826, Beulah CO 81023) in Jared’s memory.
