Jean was married to her husband, Paige, for almost 73 years. They spent their first 40 years in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia before spending their last 31 years together in Colorado.
During that time they devoted their lives to the church, serving in many different capacities including leading small groups. They served Meals on Wheels weekly for fifteen years to the elderly in the Pueblo area and spent many years serving in the Emmaus Community.
The most important thing in her life was her family. It meant the world to her to see and hear about the activities of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended families. She loved quilting, playing bridge, and doing her daily crossword puzzles. She and Paige played golf together for many years, and enjoyed travelling around the country full-time RVing for 6 years.
Surviving are her children: Debra Lack of Myrtle Beach, SC; Kent (Chipley) Gordon of Green Mountain Falls, CO; and Janis Arlow of Cortez, CO; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren (+ 3 greats we were unable to meet, but she is enjoying in Heaven). Preceding her in death were her brother and two sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Oasis Christian Church, 347 S Del Norte Ave, Pueblo West, CO 80866 on Saturday, June 7 at 3:00.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Oasis Christian Church ( Honduras Mission Trip)
