Jeanette Rose Archuleta-Trujillo, 88 years old, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 2, 2024 in Pueblo, CO. She is the widow of LeRoy F. Archuleta; they shared 14 wonderful years of marriage together. Born in Costilla, New Mexico, she was the oldest daughter of Lino and Leonarda Lovato-Trujillo. She graduated from Costilla High School in 1954. She worked at Life Care Center and Chateau at Sharmar Assisted Living as a dietary cook. She retired after 30 years of service. She beloved to the Ladies of Mary. She enjoyed her grandkids and their secret adventures. She loved to tell her history and stories, and enjoyed cooking for holidays. Mom was very loving, caring, and very spicy.
She is survived by her daughter Janice Lee Archuleta; grandchildren Marie, Nikie, and LeRoy; 6 great grandchildren Ezekiel, Claudio, Anthony, Nikklo, Lil LeRoy, and Sofia; her sister Augustine Archuleta, Teresa Medina, Tonita (Frank) Manchego; many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband LeRoy F. Archuleta; parents Lino and Leonarda Lovato-Trujillo; sisters Mina Cordova, Lucia Salazar; her only brother Carlos Trujillo, nephew Bobby Trujillo; grandmother Lucia Bernal; her beloved great grandparents Pedro Antonio and Marinita S. Bernal, who were the first settlers of Costilla, New Mexico.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 3-6pm, with Rosary at 6pm at Imperial Funeral Home Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 10am at Holy Family, followed by a reception. Committal Services will follow the reception at Imperial Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
