Ulyana is almost 2 years old, and I know you and nana are with her all the time! She is such a beautiful, loving, lively little girl! Micah is due on Ulyana’s birthday, July 13th! He is growing so big and we are so anxious to meet him! I love you so much! I carry you with me everyday! ❤️

Dad and mom, we closed on our home January 16, 2015. All us kids, through tears and heavy hearts, worked hard to move the life time of memories and prepare it for new owners. The young family who bought the properties have young kids. I pray they will be happy and blessed in their new home. I miss you both and love you so much.

"Good day for the race!" Your words, ringing in my ear all morning. Missing you and mom desperately today.  We had a great birthday in Black Hawk a great 22nd anniversary in San Francisco and visit with Sac family. I miss not being able to tell you all about my travels you always delighted in my happiness...that's how I knew you loved me!

Dear Dad, Thinking of you today as I'm cooking corn on the cob and slicing cucumbers LeRoy and I picked up at a veg stand in the lanes. Janice is taking real good care of things at home. Jess started school yesterday, Greg is safely back from Justin school, Deeney starts her new school Monday. Tracy and I are going to Pueblo this weekend. It's been a long summer without you. Dad, Tracy and I talked to you on Father's Day, on our way to the City Park. I always loved going to the park where the lawn was fresh and cool. You'd sleep on a blanket while mom arranged the picnic table. I can still see your knuckles knock'n on the watermelon to test its ripness. Oh,how I miss you! Love, Anna

Dad, Last weekend we all visited you and mom at Lakeview and ,with heavy hearts, distributed items from your home. I now am keeping your wallet,bolo-tie and St. Francis. Broncos lost the super bowl, 43-seahawks 8-Broncos. LeRoy and I BBQ'd and watched from home. I think of you and mom every day and feel your love from above. Goodbye, for now.

Dear Dad, Uncle Art's passing last night saddens me because he was so much a part of your history. It seems that his loss takes with it a piece of my memories of you. Pray for Aunt Ruby and his children. At times like this, I miss you and mom desperately.

Dad, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving! The sun was shining bright during the Wayne Bowl and Garcia's and Vigil's felt the love raining down on us from our heavenly family. Uncle Butch was heartbroken but attended. Thanks to you and mom for for the loving family you made me a part of...a most treasured inheritance!!! Dad, we had a wonderful birthday. LeRoy Anna Nada and Tracy were in the Caribbean! We thought of you and mom lots! I told them how you loved swimming every day. Thanks for teaching me to swim and to find joy in the ocean.Lenny passed away the day after we returned. The 2013 Wayne Bowl will be bitter-sweet with so many Garcia's and Vigil's gone. Pray for us. Thank you for the Gold Sting Ray bicycle you gave me on Valentine's day, when I was in the 5th grade. Thank you for the beautiful Blue Sparkle drum set you bought me when I was in the 8th grade. Thank you for the work ethic you taught me and my brothers and sisters, and  for being such a great provider for your family. Thank you for your loving and gentle spirit. Thank you for teaching me how to swim. Thank you for always being so kind and loving to all of our cousin's and friends, many of whom considered you their second father! Thank you for going into Alcohol Rehabilitation late in my Senior year in high school, and keeping our family together!  Thank you for the humility you taught me. Thank you for the duffel bag you presented me with 5 years ago, which contained so many letters and notes I received when I was at College, and hadn't seen in 30 years, and didn't even know they existed. What a gift... Thank you for loving Michelle, Ale' and Cassandra! When I came to the hospital Memorial day weekend, I told you "Dad, I'm proud to be your son," and your response is something I will always remember and cherish. For the first time in my life you told me, "I'm proud of you Son." I know you've always been proud of me, but it was one of the greatest gifts you have ever given to me, to hear you say this to me! I hope to continue to lead my life, and conduct myself in a way that will always make you proud of me... Until I see you again in Heaven.

Thanks for carrying that Iraqi money in your wallet that John wanted me to give you when he fought in Baghdad and Kalsu, Iraq during one of his tours of duty over there. Thank you for going with me to the Christian Business Mens Fellowship Breakfast and sharing their with everybody about your walk with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Everybody there likes and loves you. Brother, this is just a tip of the iceberg I am sharing.  I could write a book of the wonderful memories. Uncle Jerry, you were an inspiration to many people with your ability to make changes in your life that were profound.  You were always kind, gentle, and the truest uncle a nephew could have.  I remember riding in your camper and the places you would take us to fish.  The large garden you always tended and provided for your family.  Your hard work and dedication.  This is not a goodbye, Uncle.  It is a celebration of your life and being united with our dear Aunt Helen among the Lord in heaven.  I thank you, I love you, and I will fish with you again.
