Jessica “Farmer” Madrid passed away June 6, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Madrid, lost to the same accident May 31, 2025, her father, Daniel Farmer, both paternal and fraternal grandparents, and her Aunt Mary and Uncle Dan, and recently their beloved dog Caia.
Jessica is survived by her mother, Donna Mills and Step-father, Vernell Mills, her brother’s Matthew (Coury), Ryan (Laura), Joseph (Emily) and multiple nieces and nephews; the light of her and John’s life, John’s parents, Sandy and Todd (stepfather) Markus, and John’s father, John Madrid Sr., multiple family members, and their dog Toki.
Jessica owned her own business, Maid Tough, she provided cleaning services primarily for commercial buildings and new home construction. She did have a handful of residential clients she had started with, she truly loved the people she worked for and with.
John and Jessica never met a stranger and were loved by all who knew them. They were generous and self-less. They hardly had a free weekend as they lived life to the fullest. Their love for their dogs was so evident. Their commitment to the community was unsurpassed. Jessica often cooked for the ‘guys’ at the plant where John worked.
They loved camping with their camper, and as often as possible visited their nieces and nephews in South Dakota and California.
The Pueblo community is a better place for their living here and they will be so badly missed.
