I had the great honor of knowing Joe Pat Day when I lived in North La Junta many years ago. He was a gifted man, a hard worker, and had a great sense of humor. I loved talking to him and hearing his many stories and about his life experiences. I think of him often. 

Joe, you couldn't hear for nothing, but I still loved talking with you!  BrokenRope,God has finally freed you ! I am gonna miss you Joe, but I know God has you cause you were just the sweetest of men,  and I hope God rewards you with a beautiful Indian Maiden, I miss you Joe!
