John Adam Baca, 56, born June 11, 1956, in Pueblo to the union of Adam and Barbara Baca; and went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2012. He is survived by wife, Carmela; children, Virginia Baca, Sherrie Martinez, Tessie (Dustin) Martinez, Leslie (Nolan) Martinez, Ronnette, Latasha, and Juanito; six grandchildren; parents; brother, Anthony; sisters, Roberta Baca and Debra (John) Arellano; mother-in-law, Julia Rivas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Preceded in death by grandparents, Albert and Rosanna Ortiz, and father-in-law, Octavio Rivas. He served our country in the U.S. Army from 1973-1976 as a paratrooper in the 787 maintenance battalion, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. John was an avid Bronco fan as well as all Colorado Teams, and he loved NASCAR. He enjoyed fishing, TV, and most of all, his wife’s baked goods, and a Pepsi. Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Good Shepherd Fellowship Church, 1216 E. Beech Street.
