John F Dilts

March 31, 1930May 25, 2014

John F. Dilts, 84, passed away unexpectedly May 25, 2014 at Parkview Medical Center. A Pueblo resident for most of his life, John served his county for seven years as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. He was a teacher for Pueblo School District #60 for several years and retired as a Vocational Counselor with the State of Colorado Department of Social Services. John was a member of the Masonic Lodge #17; member of the Al Kaly Shriner’s Club and a member of the Episcopal Church. John leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 52 years, Helen; his daughter, Kimberly Drew; his grandson, Joshua Drew who had a special place in his heart; his sister-in-law, Joyce Wood; and good friends, Patsy and Abel Manzanares. In honor of his wishes, cremation and family services has taken place. Memorial gifts are those made to one another in the spirit of life and love.
