Jose Antonio Martinez entered heaven on February 22nd 2023. Born March 15th 1938 to Jose and Gabinita Martinez in small town in New Mexico. Jose is survived by his daughter Rita Martinez (Kevin), brother Lawrence Martinez, brothers in laws, sisters in laws, many nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Jose & Gabinita Martinez; wife; Lena Martinez, siblings, Rita, Seferina, Eddie, Bennie, Archie, Johnny & Louie.
Jose was a loving and caring father to his daughter Rita. He had a loving marriage to his wife Lena. His life was dedicated to his daughter and wife. He lit up the world and all the lives around him. He will forever be remembered in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
Jose worked on the railroad for over 40 years and he enjoyed his job. He loved to spend his days off fishing, camping in the mountains, working on his yard and spending time with family. He enjoyed the outdoors very much. You would usually find him outside working on something just to keep himself busy. If anyone came by to visit there was always fresh coffee and his favorite type of cookies. He enjoyed spending time with his two special pets Chewy & Jack.
He will be missed more than words can say.
