Joe was a special friend of mine. He prepared my taxes way back when, but more recently Joe attended the Wednesday evening craft groups at Life Care Center, where I work. He always came to the groups with a smile on his face and eagerness to put together whatever project I had prepared for that evening. He never made anything for himself, it was always for his family members or for his special friend, Kim. The group participants loved him, he made everyone smile with his enthusiasm and creativity.
The residents at Life Care Center and the recreation staff send our sincere sympathy to you all ~ and to Joe's family and friends, thank you for sharing him with us. His enthusiasm will continue to inspire us all for a long, long time.

I went to South High with Joe and we would say hi to each other in the halls. I was pretty shy back then and I knew Joe to be so outgoing. Growing up with JRA, I used to wish I could be as popular as Joe but he just had that charismatic personality and everyone loved him for it. I finally saw him again several years ago at a Jackson Hewitt picnic and he was still the same ole Joe! I'm so very sorry to hear of his passing and I send my sincere thoughts and prayers to his family and friends! God be with you all during this difficult time!

We worked with Joe as newspaper carriers. He always let us know if the papers would be late to the pick up location. Joe always went out of his way to help others. Joe had a kind and generous heart. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. It is never to lose a loved one.
