Julia May Sandusky went to be with the Lord on December 3, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 17 years, Charles Sandusky. She leaves behind a son, Stuart (Amber) Snow, and a daughter Larina Mason, Stepchildren; Cordell (Gaylene), Glen, Jim, Don, and Lynn Sandusky, multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Julia is well known for her sewing, crochet, knitting, and creativity. Her business, Creative Sewing Design, was a Pueblo landmark. Julia’s passion for teaching sewing and introducing people to quality machines was evident in all of her interactions. More often than not a conversation would be about something completely mundane, and by the end it would be about something generally creative or about sewing. She loved deeply, spoke her mind, and loved her independence. She will be missed here on earth, but we have the assurance that we will see her again in heaven. She accepted the Lord as her Savior as a young child and served him throughout her life. Graveside service will be Wednesday January 13, 2021 at 2:30pm at Imperial Memorial Gardens, no reception will be held at this time. We will have a memorial service at a future date when restrictions have been fully lifted. Thank you all for your love and support during this time. We are going to miss our sassy little grandma.
