Karen Parks

Karen Rose Parks, 66, of Pueblo passed away on September 30, 2017. Karen was born on June 24, 1951 in Pueblo. She is preceded in death by her parents Tom and Veda Genova, her loving husband Donald E. Parks and daughter Darcie Parks. She graduated from Central High School she then earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Karen enjoyed reading books to include Steven King and Dean Koontz. She also enjoyed coloring, watching and feeding the ducks at Mineral Palace Park, her computer games, and TV shows- she cherished her grandchildren dearly. Karen is survived by her children Julie Pluchta, Ron (Diane) Parks, Donnie (Heather) Parks and Eddie (Angel) Parks; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
