Kirk Elliott Williams

Kirk Elliott Williams, 61, passed away peacefully on September 2nd, 2018. Kirk was born on November 11th, 1956, in Pueblo, Colorado. His talents were in high demand and he brought beauty to everything he touched. He was a life-long athlete and excelled in many sports. He had an adventurous spirit and travelled the world with gusto, but he always called Pueblo his home. One of his dearest traits was his love for animals, always a treasured dog by his side. Kirk gave his all in every aspect of his life. His selflessness was unmatched. Kirk was a very active member of First Presbyterian Church in Pueblo. He was a past deacon and Stephen Minister, offering care and compassion to all, and active in the choir and men’s ministries. As a kind and gentle soul, he helped others in whatever way he could. His celebration of life and resurrection will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 220 W 10th St on Saturday, September 8th at 10:00 am.

To the family and friends of Mr. Williams always cherish the fond memories of time spent together and although you may grieve the Bible can be a source of comfort. At (Revelation 21:3,4) it speaks of a time when there will be no more sickness or death, also at (Acts 24:15) it speaks of a resurrection that we all can look forward to. May the peace and love of the God of the Bible be with you all.

he made our community a better place with his sunny disposition and good nature.
his impromptu visits to hopscotch were always fun and brightened my day.

We are sorry to hear about Kirk's passing away. He use to come by Robert's Mom Lucy's home to visit way back when. Kirk always had the ability to see things on the bright side of things... He had an affectionate smile. My daughter Elizabeth remembers his dog Penny the black lab and her signed autograph picture. Kirk will be missed. Take care and God bless you the Leming -Chacon Family.

For more than twenty years, Kirk shared his beautiful energy, kindness and charm with Marcee and me countless times as he and his beloved dogs walked past our Fountain of Health Yoga Studio - just a few doors from his home on S. Union Ave. The street will feel cold, and our hearts less full, without his warm smile and witty compliments. He is without doubt one of God's favorites and easy to love children.

Kirk and I were online friends for almost a year, He brought me back to God, I can never repay him for that. This was a great shock to me, My Nephew died Wednesday and I went to talk to my best friend and he was gone. I will never forget our conversations. I know you are watching over me. I know you're at peace my friend. I'm trying too like you always told me. I wish I could be there to see you one last time. I love you Bro, I will never forget you. Fly high my angel, I remember you telling me about monarch butterflies. I've seen plenty since last Sunday. I can't believe we had just talked last Friday!!! Gone too soon, you always told me today is promised. Guess you were right my friend. I know I will see you again. Thank you for keeping me grounded and know I will stay in the Scripture.

Love, Cheryl

Kirk was an amazing friend to my family. He had a way of always being on the sunny side of life. I loved how he was able to share his huge adventures, like riding his bike from Pueblo to Baltimore. He was the best with his beautiful dogs and always answered the phone when my sister rang him up once a week. Kirk will be deeply missed especially the sweet image of him walking with his puppies down Abriendo. Love to his friends and family
